Need
Santoni, a luxury brand of Made in Italy footwear, wants to expand the business digitalization process by redesigning the training process of its artisan apprentices. The need is to implement a system that can be freed from the sole use of expert personnel but supported by the use of new technologies.
Digital Concept
The virtual learning project is a perfect combination of high professionalism and technology and it is based on the use of wearable devices (Microsoft Hololens): these allow resources to learn manual skills by means of a digital training course in a virtuous and autonomous training process.
Technological Solution
Wearing Hololens, users are able to carry out the assigned activities independently thanks to the use of on-demand video contents, matching theory and practice in a single dimension. User behaviour is tracked by the system and the company can verify it in real time through a dedicated backend, in order to judge its compliance with the reference operating standards.
